Battle of the search engines
Yahoo has edged out Google as the number one searched for engine, according to Google’s own stats. MSN brought up the rear in a close three way battle.
Interesting you might say, but it must be remembered that Google trends is based on searches on Google. This means that you must consider that it is less likely people will search for “google” in the Google engine.
So while we probably can’t take to much notice of these stats in terms of who is the most popular, it is clear that all three search engines are in close competition.
In what is surely good news for Yahoo, Google and MSN, there has been an increase in the amount of searches they have all received.
