I’m bored

If the increasing amount of Google searches for the term “bored” is anything to go by life has become quite boring for an escalating number of people over the last few years. The number has been increasing since 2004 and is now at a record high.

The question has to be asked - have all other avenues for enjoyment on the internet been exhausted? Do we not have any other interests to keep us occupied or do we just have too much time on our hands?

One likely reason for the ever increasing amount of google searches for “bored” is that people have finally discovered the beauty of the internet whilst at work.

Regardless of the reason, Australians type in the term more than any other, apparently looking to find a cure to the endless monotonous cycle of wrestling crocodiles and kangaroo rides.
